Bio
Joelle Izack writes emotionally rich, magic-laced fiction where heroines and heroes face transformation, mystery, and the wild edges of their world. Her stories blend romance, fantasy, and just enough danger to keep things interesting, all rooted in the belief that change is possible, magic is real, and wonder is always worth chasing.
She holds a BA in Dramaturgy with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and balances her writing life with a not-so-magical day job in information technology.
Joelle has lived in just about every kind of landscape: California sunshine, Virginia lakes, Georgia woods, and Massachusetts shores. But it’s the Arizona desert that feels most like magic.
She lives there now with her husband and Fars, a very serious Australian cattle dog who supervises all creative decisions and demands a healthy amount of playtime. When Joelle isn’t writing, she’s usually reading, playing fetch, or planning her next excuse to escape town.
